The United India Insurance Officers' Association is the premier, democratically-elected body of officers of United India Insurance Co. Ltd.
United India Insurance Officers' Association
Founded in 1978 and registered under the Trade Union Act, 1926, UIIOA represents officers in Scale I to Scale IV across United India Insurance Co. Ltd. It is the largest, democratically-elected officers' organisation in the company, commanding roughly 80.56% membership.
UIIOA is affiliated to the National Confederation of General Insurance Officers' Associations (Confed), Mumbai — an umbrella movement with partner associations in the other public-sector general insurers. Over the decades it has secured the best wage revisions, a proper promotion policy, transfer & mobility policy, the Group Health Scheme and other service conditions for officers.
The Jaipur Regional Unit is one of 39+ Regional Units nationwide and a long-standing part of the UIIOA movement, carrying this legacy to every officer across the Jaipur Region.

Milestones through the decades
1938
United India Insurance Co. Ltd. established at Chennai.
1972
General insurance nationalised; UIIC becomes a Government of India undertaking.
1978
UIIOA founded and registered under the Trade Union Act, 1926 (No. 1961/MDS).
2003
UIIOA becomes the first association in the sector to launch its own website.
2016
Retains majority status with 80.56% membership through repeated check-off exercises.
2026
Jaipur Unit launches its new digital home and gears up for the upcoming Check-Off Exercise.
