Roles & Duties
What each office bearer does
A concise summary of the functions of the office bearers, as laid down in the Association's bye-laws.

President
Presides over all meetings, preserves order and discipline, signs confirmed minutes and the annual audited accounts, and holds a casting vote.

Vice Presidents
Discharge all functions of the President whenever he/she is unable to, and any other duties under the bye-laws.

Regional Secretary
Summons and attends all meetings, records minutes, is custodian of documents, properties and the members' register, carries on all correspondence and general management, and is the person to sue or be sued on behalf of the Association.

Organising Secretary
Acts for the Secretary when required, maintains liaison with the Central Committee and Regional Units, and drives the successful conduct of meetings, seminars and conventions.

Joint Secretaries
Generally assist the Secretary and discharge the functions of the Organising Secretary whenever required.

Treasurer
Receives and banks all dues, operates bank accounts jointly with the Secretary/President, maintains accounts and financial statements, and safe-keeps deposits and certificates.
